Cover Shoot in The Wedding Planner Magazine
Creating a styled shoot is much like planning a wedding; you start with a concept, turn it into a vision and then find the right vendors to bring it to life. Back in April, we created our very first styled shoot for The Wedding Planner Magazine with our inspiration coming from Frida Kahlo. We started with finding the perfect venue and set our sights on El Caballito Tequila Bar in Downtown Toronto. We knew this was the perfect venue based on their organic Mexican feel, gorgeous wood tables, rustic brick walls and overall unique setting. We knew we wanted to mix vintage gold and lace with bright colours to create a Mexican vintage glam feel. We worked with Precious Flowers N’ Things for all of our florals and Have a Seat and Event Rental Group for all of our rentals. Our custom made stationery was created by PaperWenches which perfectly represented the look and feel of the shoot. Our unique cake and desserts were made by Sweet Lovely Bakes. We chose to have two looks, one was a fitted lace gown with a vintage feel, while the second was a more playful gown. The gown’s were provided by Richmond Hill Bridal Boutique and we complimented them with beautiful jewellery from Sweet N’ Classy. It was important to find the perfect look to represent our shoot, which we were able to do with Linnea of B&M Models. The Art of Makeup and Hair completed the looks with stunning makeup and gorgeous hair. Everything was captured perfectly by Perfect Impressions Photography.
This shoot was featured in The Wedding Planner Magazine and one of the photos from our shoot was even chosen for the cover photo! We had a great time putting together this shoot and were lucky to have such an amazing team of vendors to work with.
